Subject
The Gospel of Mark
Description

Due to an early morning storm in the area and some resulting technical problems, there was a need to restart our equipment a few minutes into the recording. The material not recorded is included here with a little overlap.

One of the unique things about the times in which we live is the way we capitalize or do not capitalize certain words. For instance, we have the
•    iPhone (what’s up with that? Starting a word with small case letter and the next letter capitalized and then the next letter being small case. In one sense this is weird but it has become the norm in our day. Not only do we have iPhone, we have the
•    iPad, iPod, iMac, iOS, iMovie, etc.

We also have some “e” words like that. We have
•    e-commerce
•    e-sword (A Bible study tool)
•    e-books, and
•    e-readers
•    e-museum (where you can take a virtual tour of a museum from your office or home

But this morning, let’s think about your favorite eVerse = your favorite evangelism verse. Do you have one?

[At this point, the congregation shared some of their favorite evangelism verses. Below is a list I compiled during prep time.]

Genesis 3:9 “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
Our God is an evangelistic God

Matthew 28:19
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 1:8
“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 14:6
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Romans 6:23
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
